ポッドキャストをはじめとした展示会「PORTABLE MEDIA EXPO」
アメリカでは今年の11月にポッドキャスティングをはじめとした、オーディオ・ビデオコンテンツ、携帯情報端末の展示会「PORTABLE MEDIA EXPO」 が実施されます。ボイスブログ「ケロログ」を提供するボイスバンク社が日本事務局として協力することになり、あわせて日本向けのサイトが先日オープンしました。
スピーカーリストに載っている企業を見ると、Yahoo!、BBC、Audibleなど、そうそうたる会社ばかりでこのカンファレンスの注目度の高さがわかります。またポッドキャスターのスピーカーも、Eric Rice（EricRice.com）、Doug Kaye（IT Conversations）、Noah Glass（Odeo）などの豪華な顔ぶれ。
さらにスペシャルイベントとして、活躍したポッドキャスターや優秀な番組を表彰するイベントも実施される予定。「"The Podcast of the Year"賞」はどのポッドキャストが受賞するのか楽しみですね。
カンファレンスに参加したいですがそんなお金もないため、たくさんのブログで書かれると思われる報告に期待！
