人気SFドラマ「Star Trek」のポッドキャスティング
アメリカで人気のSFドラマで、日本でも熱狂的なファンがたくさんいる「Star Trek」（スタートレック）。
その「Star Trek」のポッドキャスティングがスタートした。

ポッドキャスティングの内容は、脚本家のMike Sussman氏と「Star Trek」番組サイトの編集ディレクター Tim Gaskill氏が、撮影の裏話や番組の解説をするというもの。
これを聞けばより番組が楽しめるという仕掛け。
海外映画のDVDを買うと、特典として監督や出演者による裏話や解説（オーディオ・コメンタリー）がたまに収録されている。
ポッドキャスティングを使うことで、テレビドラマでもそうしたオーディオ・コメンタリーを提供しようという流れがあるようだ。
※すでにオーディオ・コメンンタリーを提供している番組は、「スターゲイト・アトランティス」や「宇宙空母ギャラクティカ」がある（関連記事「人気SFドラマの解説をポッドキャスティング」）。

私はまだトレッキーではないのですが、この機会に聞いてみようと思っています。
日本のドラマで三谷幸喜さんの「王様のレストラン」のDVDを買ったのですが、ドラマと同時に出演者である松本幸四郎さんや西村雅彦さんらの回想トークが流れる仕組みで、ファンにはたまらない特典でした。
そういうものがポッドキャスティングで提供されると、ドラマの楽しみ方が広がっていいのですが、著作権にうるさい日本ではまだまだ先のことになりそうです。
