人気SFドラマの解説をポッドキャスティング

アメリカのSFファンタジーやホラー作品を中心に放映しているケーブルテレビ「SCI FI.COM」は、人気番組「スターゲイト・アトランティス」のポッドキャスティングを開始した。

番組の内容をそのままポッドキャスティングで配信するわけではなく、作家兼プロデューサーによる解説が聞けるというもの。番組開始の直前に配信されるため、それを聞きながら番組を見るといろいろな裏話がわかるので、よりドラマを楽しめるという仕組みだ。

SCIFI.COMでは同じく人気番組「宇宙空母ギャラクティカ」のポッドキャスティング（こちら）を3月にスタートさせている。

アメリカではケーブルテレビ局間での契約者獲得競争が激しい。
今回の動きはそうした中で、顧客満足向上と差別化を図るための新しい試みといえる。
