NBAがポッドキャストを計画
アメリカのバスケットリーグ、NBA（National Basketball Association）がPodcastingでの情報配信を計画しているという記事。
・ESPN is networking college basketball tournaments to the maximum（USA TODAY）
記事によるとNBAの上級副社長・Brenda Spoonemore氏は、NBAのニュースやプレーオフの情報をポッドキャスティングで配信する予定があると語っている。
また、ポッドキャｽティグはまだ一部のアーリーアダプターに使われているに過ぎないため、メジャースポーツサイトがポッドキャスティングを採用して情報配信を行うのは、来年からになるというコメントも。
昨日の試合の結果を、翌朝の車や通勤電車の中でiPodで聞けるようになったら、かなりうれしいですよね！
スポーツは興味のあるひとがかなりの数いる分野なので、スポーツ・ポッドキャストの広がりが、ポッドキャスティングを一部のマニアの楽しみから一般的なものとして普及させるきっかけになるかもしれませんね。
