ラジオ局がポッドキャスティングでリスナーを2倍に
NYの公共ラジオ局・WNYCがポッドキャスティングを開始したというのを以前紹介しました（前回記事）。
以下の記事によると、ポッドキャスティングを行って4週間でオンラインのリスナー数を2倍に増やすという成果があったとのこと。
・Podcast boosts NPR show's audience（CyberJournalist.net）
この結果により、WNYCは3月からさらに別の番組をポッドキャスティングに対応させるとコメントしている。
ポッドキャスティングはローカルラジオ局にとって大きなメリットをもたらすことが実証され、従来のラジオ放送やオンライン・ストリーミングでは難しかった多くのリスナーの獲得が可能であるという点で、さらに注目を集めることになるだろう。
こうした企業のポッドキャスティングの成功事例がいくつか出てくることで、さらにポッドキャスティングに取り組む企業は増えてくるでしょうね。
