アダム・カリー氏は犯罪者？
「iPodder」の開発者であり、Podcasting（ポッドキャスティング）の最も有名な推進者であるアダム・カリー氏について、ショッキングなタイトルの告発記事が。
・Adam Curry - the criminal（アダム・カリー氏は犯罪者だ）
記事によると、アダム・カリー氏が彼の番組内で版権がある音楽を流したのが問題だと書かれている。
通常、ラジオ局がそれらの音楽を流そうとすれば著作権料を支払う必要がある。それを元MTVのビデオジョッキーであるアダム・カリー氏が知らないわけはなく、違法を承知で使ったのではないか？と指摘されている。
真偽のほどはわかりませんが、番組内で音楽を流したいというポッドキャスターは多いと思います。
誰でも自由に楽曲などのコンテンツを利用できる「クリエイティブ・コモンズ」の考え方が音楽業界に広がれば、利用できる曲も増えてくるのですがまだ時間がかかりそうですね。
