テキストを音声ファイル化する「楽SpeechS」
ブログの記事をポッドキャスティングで配信したいと考えた時に、毎回自分でブログの記事を読み上げて録音するはかなり手間がかかるのが悩ましいところ。
そんなとき、Passion For The Futureで「Webのニュースを合成音声ファイル化する楽SpeechS」という記事を発見。
「楽SpeechS」というフリーソフトを使えば、指定した文書を読み上げた音声ファイル（wav形式）を作成することができる。
用意は簡単。まずはこちらから「楽SpeechS(VB6)」 をダウンロードしてインストール。
さらに、マイクロソフトのここのページから「Text-to-speech engine」の日本語版と、ここのページの1番下にある「spchapi.EXE」をダウンロード&インストール。
「楽SpeechS」を立ち上げたら、起動画面に音声ファイル化したいテキストを貼り付けて、「録音」ボタンを押せば完了。
できたファイルはwav形式なので、それをiTunesでmp3に変換し、最後にブログにアップロード。
ためしに「電話でポッドキャスティングできる「ケロログ」」という過去の記事を、音声ファイル化してみました。
機械による抑揚のないスピーチですが、聞いていて内容は十分理解できるレベル。
このソフトでもじゅうぶん便利ですが、将来的には例えばRSSのURLを指定しておくと、自動的に音声ファイル化してポッドキャスティングとして配信してくれるゲートウェイサービスができたらいいなー。
