外からポッドキャスティングする「モブキャスト」とは？
ほとんどのブログには、外から携帯のメールを使って記事を更新する「モブログ」という機能がある。
実はポッドキャスティングでも、外から音声を収録して配信することが可能です。
それは「mobcast（モブキャスト）」または「Pocketcasting（ポケットキャスティング）」と呼ばれていて、アメリカではそうして公開されている番組がいくつかあります。
モブキャストをするためには携帯電話を使う方法が一般的。
ある番号に電話をし数字でIDとパスワードを入力後、話した内容が録音されてMP3ファイルが作成され、自動的にブログ上で公開される。モブキャスト機能を持っているブログサービスとしては、Audioblogが有名。
外からポッドキャスティングができるとすれば、いろいろと面白いことができそう。
例えば旅先でのおいしいグルメの紹介や、偶然遭遇した大事件の中継など、いくらでもアイデアが出てくる。
電話があればモブキャストは可能なので、海外からでも番組の配信が可能だ。トラベル・モブキャストなんかも出てくるかもしれない。
うーん、楽しそう。
